PLAY BALL - typically for P2's. Children in this stage are introduced to the ten ball sports that we teach. These are basketball, baseball, football, hockey, volleyball, tennis, rugby, cricket, dodgeball and handball. We teach specific skills and rules for each of the sports and children learn to play the game, which also develops spatial perception. The emphasis is on teamwork. Some of the life skills that we develop include sportsmanship values, respect, confidence and concentration. This is the last stage in preparing children for a lifetime of confident and competent sports participation.
